MEET OUR ELSIE MACGILL'S STUDENT SENATORS

TENIOLA ENIOJUKAN

My name is Teni Eniojukan and I am in grade 10. I am one of your student senators for this year. Some things that I love to do are singing, drawing, eating/trying delicious food, and listening to music to pass the time. I believe that everyone should have a community to belong to and people who support them. I will work hard to encourage these family-like relationships to provide everyone with comfort. The opportunity to work towards this on a senator level is extremely treasured and I am immensely grateful.

My name is Sujaana and I will be one of the student senators for this school year. I’m so grateful to be playing this role in our school community. Some things about me, I enjoy music l, whether it’s listening or playing. I also enjoy dancing. My goals for this year is to build a good community within the school and to start traditions for years to come. I believe that everyone should feel comfortable and safe when they enter the school and my goal is to help achieve that!

What is the Student Senate?

We're a group of passionate leaders from public schools across the Halton District School Board. We meet once a month to provide the student perspective on board issues and to voice the questions and concerns of Halton students. The Student Trustees relay these perspectives to the Board of Trustees to ensure that students are being represented. Each year, we also organize and run the Halton Youth Leadership Symposium, a conference for Halton students.
